Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes conduct that is prohibited on Florida Contractor Network. It is part of our Terms of Service. Violations may result in content removal, suspension, or termination.
1. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Break the law or use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose.
- Post content that is harassing, threatening, hateful, defamatory, obscene, or that incites violence.
- Misrepresent your identity, licensure, insurance, affiliation, or qualifications, or impersonate others.
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent bids, listings, reviews, or credentials.
- Spam members, send unsolicited bulk messages, or scrape or harvest data or contact information.
- Infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- Share another person’s private or personal information without consent.
2. Security restrictions
You agree not to:
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services, or breach security or authentication measures.
- Access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access.
- Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code, or interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Services except as expressly permitted.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code, except where permitted by law.
3. Content standards
Content you post must be relevant, accurate to the best of your knowledge, and respectful of other members. Commercial promotion is allowed only where the feature is designed for it (for example, advertising or designated areas) and must follow our Community Guidelines and Advertising Policy.
4. Reporting violations
If you see content or behavior that violates this AUP, report it using the in-app reporting tools or email admin@floridacontractornetwork.com. Our moderators review reports and take action as appropriate.
5. Enforcement
We may remove content, issue warnings, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this AUP, with or without notice. Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement.
