Advertising Policy

Last updated: June 9, 2026

This Advertising Policy governs ads created and run on Florida Contractor Network. It is part of our Terms of Service. By submitting an ad, you agree to these rules.

1. Who can advertise

Advertising is open to businesses with a Florida Contractor Network account. You are responsible for ensuring your business, products, and offers are legal and that you have the rights to all content in your ads.

2. Ad review

Every ad is reviewed before it serves. We may approve, reject, pause, or remove an ad at our discretion — for example, if it violates this policy or could harm the member experience. Review is not an endorsement, and approval does not guarantee performance.

3. Prohibited ad content

Ads may not:

  • Be false, misleading, or deceptive, or make unsubstantiated claims.
  • Promote illegal products or services, scams, or “guaranteed” financial returns.
  • Contain offensive, hateful, or adult content.
  • Infringe intellectual property or other rights.
  • Impersonate Florida Contractor Network or imply endorsement or partnership we have not granted.
  • Link to malware, deceptive landing pages, or content that differs materially from the ad.

4. Labeling

All ads are clearly labeled as “Sponsored” and presented natively so members always know what is advertising.

5. Targeting

You may target campaigns by criteria such as trade, buying interest, and city. Targeting must not be used to unlawfully discriminate. We match your campaign to members who fit your criteria; we do not give you members’ personal information simply for showing them an ad. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Budgets, billing, and refunds

  • You set a budget for each campaign and authorize charges to your payment method on file.
  • Spend accrues as your ad serves (for example, per impressions delivered). When your budget is reached, the campaign stops.
  • If we reject an ad before it serves, any prepaid budget for that ad is refunded.
  • We keep records of your campaigns, charges, and performance, available in your advertising dashboard.

7. Performance data

We provide metrics such as impressions, clicks, and spend. These are estimates for reporting and billing and may differ from third-party measurements.

8. Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for your ads, offers, landing pages, and any transactions that result. You must comply with all applicable laws, including advertising, consumer-protection, and licensing requirements.
